NAUS Nattional - National Short Story Writing Competition

Indeed one of the challenges Africa as a continent faces is poor attitude to reading and writing. With due consideration of the huge challenges facing the Nigerian students; ranging from education, too economic, social and security factors amongst others , the leadership of the National Association of University Students thought it would be a great idea to organize a NATIONAL SHORT STORY WRITING COMPETITION. This event is poised to chart a new course for the unity of Nigeria through writing with the aim of addressing the critical developmental needs of our country and reignite love for our culture and values.

Our vision is to create a Nigeria firmly rooted in culture and values through the art of creative writing and story telling.

MISSION STATEMENT:

Our mission is to encourage our cultural education, unity and ethnical values through creative writing. We aim to enhance the Nigerian Student academically, culturally and build an insight on social development through this forum.
